Illinois Now Has Seventeen Baby-Friendly Hospitals!

The Chicago Area Breastfeeding Coalition congratulates these hospitals on achieving what is considered the Gold Standard in the world of breastfeeding—– the international designation of Baby-Friendly Hospital granted by the World Health Organization and UNICEF. This designation requires that hospitals implement the 10 Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.
